Growing up in Honolulu, Hawai’i, singer-songwriter Gabriel Goes was immersed in music from a tender age. At 2 years old, he picked up the ukulele, and by age 6, he was already performing in local productions. Surrounded by the arts, Gabriel recalls, “Music has always been my passion, it's just something that comes naturally to me.”
Guided by mentor John Signor, Gabriel not only learned instruments but also discovered how to express himself through music. Influenced by bands like Sublime, Pepper, The Green, and Kalapana, Gabriel developed his unique style.
Studying Music Business at HCC’s Mele Program, Gabriel recently showcased his talent on The Voice - Season 25, representing Hawai’i on Chance the Rapper’s Team. With aspirations to tour internationally with his high school-formed reggae/rock band, Backset, Gabriel’s musical journey is just beginning.
