September 23, 2023 - We Are Friends Maui Benefit Concert, in partnership with Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Raised over $200K in funds for the Maui community impacted by the wildfires.

Founded in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) organization, The Henry Kapono Foundation (HKF) is rooted in Hawai'i and driven by the vision of celebrated entertainer Henry Kapono and his wife, Lezlee Ka’aihue. Grounded in Henry's unwavering passion for music and his beloved home in the islands, the HKF is dedicated to giving back to the community that has enriched his life immeasurably.

Committed to ensuring the vitality of Hawai'i's music industry, the HKF cultivates education, employment, and awareness opportunities for both present and future music creators. We strive to empower Hawai'i's Creators to develop, amplify and showcase their talents, create collaborations and foster artistic community.
