HKF Awards Mohalu Hou a MELE EDUCATION MUSIC GRANT for Keola Beamer’s Aloha Music Camp

"Aloha Music Camp has been happening for more than 20 years now.  2023 was a difficult year for so many on Maui.  This camp was smaller than usual, but so special in terms of the healing environment we sought to create for those impacted by the West Maui wildfires.  

 HKF’s generosity funded "work" for six Kumu from Maui to join their longtime friends at AMC and continue their essential instruction in sharing knowledge and Aloha with our campers.  We are so appreciative of HKF’s support!" ~MHF

The Mohalu Hou Organization was awarded an Imua Music Education Music Grant via the We Are Friends Maui Fund, in Support of Meaningful Work for established Maui Music Mentors and Educators for Keola Beamer’s 2024 Aloha Music Camp
