The We are Friends Maui - A Wildfire Benefit Concert Hosted by Henry Kapono was an incredible night of healing through music and an epic fundraising event! Henry was joined on stage by some of Hawaiʻi’s most iconic and loved musicians. The non-stop show was filled with over 15 musicians, who donated their time and poured out their hearts throughout an epic 6 hours long concert, raising over $200,000 for the recovery efforts in Maui Community through the foundations listed below, to those affected by the August 2023 Wildfires in Maui, Hawaiʻi.
The Henry Kapono Foundation would like to send a heartfelt MAHALO to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, entertainers, vendors, production companies, community and donors that came together to help our brothers and sisters of Maui.
The proceeds from the concert will support the nonprofits Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, Peoples Fund Maui and the Henry Kapono Foundation. The Concert was Presented and Produced by Maui Arts & Cultural Center in partnership with Kapono Inc Production.
